I finally switched my main PC to linux!
I use Arch, BTW.
But in all seriousness, it took me months of debate, several realizations, and the eol of Windows 10 to finally get myself to switch. I was holding out, mainly because of multiplayer games (of the FPS variety), but eventually I realized that I don't play FPS games enough to warrent staying on Windows anyhow. Plus, with how Microsoft has been treating Windows 11 feature updates, each one having introduced a breaking change that messes with hardware and software, I don't really want to take the chance anymore. And add to that the fact that my Nvidia GPU, the Geforce GTX 980 TI, works swimmingly well with wayland, and the fact that Mod Organizer 2 has an unofficial linux installer, made my decision way easier. The only thing I'm gonna miss is the Minecraft Bedrock Xbox GDK builds, but ah well.
