Intersting Tidbits
Frostbreak made a video that expresses my exact feelings on Fallout 4.
VideoThis puts the feelings I have had on Fallout 4 for 10 years into words in a way I could have never thought of, so thanks.
Tim Cain did a great video on Video Game Industy Pendulum swings
MattKC Made A great video going over Discord clients for old versions of Windows.
I found out about justfuckingusehtml.com and it's a gold mine for useful info and general web design advice.
Recent Endeavors
I have been messing around with Hyper-V a bit, I have found that it is several times more performant than Virtualbox will ever be, mostly due to it being a Kernal Virtual Machine (KVM). I tried and failed to install ReactOS in it, with the realization that ReactOS still has a longstanding bug relating to Hyper-V which prevents booting at all. I then installed Windows 7 which went perfect as usual, and now I'm in the process of installing Gentoo.
I bought a new Tigers hat, It has the old 2000s logo with the tiger inside the Old English D on it.
I installed and riced Niri on Arch, and it looks really good. Perhaps I will upload the dot files sometime.
Linux & Open Source Tidbits
Microsoft Open-Sourced an edit.com Rust Reimplementation.
As I have been looking for an edit.com clone for ages, it's nice to see a reimplementation by Microsoft themselves. You should be able to install it on Arch Linux and Derivatives through the ms-edit package and on Freebsd through the microsoft-edit port.
ReactOS Alpha 0.4.15 has released.
It has been a while since the last one, and it looks like they made some nice progress.
Fallout 4 Modding Tidbits
Selakii made a real musket mod.
I personally think this is something Fallout 4 has been missing since it's release.
The Commonwealth Weaponry Team made a fully animated Plasma Defender.
There have been many Plasma Defender mods for Fallout 4 but most of them lacked custom animations, so this fills a much needed gap. And what's better than another weapon from an older game? Not much, that's for sure.
Winterworld19 and Diakyuto Reduxed DeadPool2099's Grease Gun SMG
It's nice to see another person working on Reduxes. I am glad to see this weapon reduxed, as it has been in need of it.
Movies/TV/Video Games Tidbits
Mickey 17
It was very thought provoking, comments on the impact of human replication and the effects on the mind, political unrest, purity, and alien life.
Star Wars: Tales Of the Underworld
I watched the first 3 episodes. It was nice to see Asajj Ventress, and her journey to where she is in The Bad Batch S3.
